From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet, Black Girl Magic is within me. From deep down in my soul, to the goals my brain holds, Greatness is upon me.” – M. Smith
Hey Girl Boss! Entrepreneurship can be very rewarding but it can also have its challenges. Sometimes you are overwhelmed by how much work you have to get done. Many times you have to create a bulk amount of content to keep your readers engaged, check emails, complete follow up tasks and even restock products. There may be times when you just don't know what to do.
This photo of Karen Civil, of Live Civil and Ming Lee, of Snob Life epitomizes the meaning of Girl Boss. Ming Lee owns the million dollar brand Snob Life Hair Studios in Atlanta, Georgia! While Karen Civil is a media maven who works with artists such as YG 400, Nipsey Hussle and was even a spokesperson behind Lil Wayne and Hilary Clinton.
Read below to see the three types of friends every Girl Boss needs!
1. Supportive Sister: This supportive sister is someone who encourages you to create. You all can bounce off ideas off of each other. Your supportive sister is the friend you can call at 3am to share your ideas with. Even though she is not your real sister she truly feels like one.
2.Business Bestie /Boss Babe: Your business bestie or boss babe knows the ins and outs of running a business. She is running her own business and you are running yours as well. You all connect, collaborate and inspire each other to keep going to bring your brands to the next level.
3. Corporate Chick: This friend is not a business owner nor a creative and decided to take the corporate route. She’ s happy to know her checks are coming every two weeks or on the 1st and 15th! Nonetheless, she is still supportive and when she’s not working you all have a great time catching up and having fun! This friend allows you to have a great outlet when you don’t want to think about work and all the things you have to do.
These are my top 3 ! Which friend are you? Feel free to comment below.
