People do interchange Event Planners and Event Designers! Some people even get them confused! They are similar but not the same. An Event Designer is someone who creates the set design or decor for a particular event!
An Event Planner can step in at the last minute to take over to make sure the lighting is right. They are interchangeable but not the same.
An Event Planner is there for the Initial phases, they can come in as an end as a day of coordinator. Event Planners making sure things are done or set!

The Planners Conference is an affordable way to planners to be able to break in the business. I was doing Aspiring Planner workshops but I had to make sure I sold enough tickets. My pastor suggested that I should do a conference. A one day conference will alleviate a lot of work versus the workshops. I'm excited. I have a great group of ladies helping me.
Aspiring Planners also get the chance to obtain info from not only from myself but other ladies in the Event Planning Industry.

Google is going to have to be your best friends! Do your research and get books on wedding etiquette! Find a trusted friend or family member who is not in your wedding to help coordinate. Obtain assistance from a trusted friend or two so you are not doing it all alone!
What my niche seems to be is budgeting! With a $5,000-$7,000 I can assist clients to create the wedding of their dreams! I am able to help brides eliminate unnecessary expenses. For example, napkins if you do decide to have fancy napkins keep a limited amount for your candy table. Napkins are not a necessity but can be utilized in certain aspects of table decor.
