Social Sunday: The Curlfriends Christmas Social

Hey Curlfriends!

The Curlfriends Staff has so may events in store for you all! April 15th is our Pink That Meetup and the Black & Gold Brunch details will be released very soon! The Vancouver Curlfriends hosted an Ugly Christmas Sweater Social in December. If you missed out , don't worry we are here to break it down for you!

The Curlfriends Staff arrived around 5pm to prep things - the event took place at fellow Curlfriends' , Jonie (shoutout to her btw) beautiful home. As soon as we entered her home , Christmas just filled the air!  The house was filled with Gorgeous Christmas decor all throughout the house.

We laid out the snacks and beautiful decor (done by Vancouver Curlfriend , Chynna) - we took pictures , prior to the event - while listening to Jonie's amazing Christmas playlist (you can never go wrong with Destiny's Child's "Rudolph the red nose reindeer).. by 6 pm , most of the ladies arrived and the event began!

The event began with icebreakers (by introducing ourselves - as well as , fun facts about ourselves) which was a lot of fun , especially with a few new faces to the Curlfriend community. 

Afterwards , we headed to the kitchen for yummy snacks and took tons of pictures!

Next, on the agenda was the Mannequin Challenge! A fun thing to try the internet literally makes things look easy. It was my first time attempting the challenge. 
We proceeded to the living room to watch the somewhat classic , This Christmas. Talk about pure FINE in one movie - from Chris Brown to Idris Elba! I can literally watch that movie a billion times.

By 9pm , the wonderful evening was coming to an end . It was overall a great evening - socializing with fellow Curlfriends , debating who was more fine (Cam Newton or Denzel Washington's son from Players, to the Mannequin Challenge.
