(Morgan shares her experience
of the proposal below) "He proposed on March 14, 2014! We had just got into an argument earlier that day! After that, he texts me and tells me to go get my nails done. He sent me two pictures of how he would like me to get my nails done. After that, he met up with me to give me the money. He tells me, "We are going to our picnic today so be ready! " Then tells me to get dressed. So I put on jeans and I dress very casual. He then tells me to put on something other than jeans! After that, Marquise tells me he's about to run to the store.
He then texts my roommate to tell me to put on something nicer. (My roommate already knew he was about to propose!) So I put on a sundress. In the car he randomly tells me that we've been dating for 110 weeks. Then we arrived to the mountain for our picnic at Mt. Bonnel. Suddenly, his phone began to ring! He said hold on I have to take this call. Then one of my track teammates (who is also photographer) walked up to us. After that, Marquise came up to me with 110 roses. I was still was oblivious to what was going on. As we began eating he asked me to take a walk. He got down on one knee and proposed. Tears dropped down. It was the perfect day!" |
What's the best advice for planning a wedding? You do need a Wedding Day Coordinator! Our venue provided a Day of Wedding Coordinator, she ran everything from start to finish.
What's the best advice you would give to newlyweds? Don't separate! Spend a lot of time together and do extra bonding! If your spouse will be gone for months that is not okay. Try to spend as much time together as possible. Most importantly: Once you get married read a Chapter of Proverbs together every night! |
